Requirements
Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, or Education, with formal graduate course work in behavioral science
Minimum of one year of experience in providing behavior analysis services with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or those individuals with both intellectual and developmental and mental health disabilities.
BCBA (Board Certified Behavioral Analyst)
Maintain required certifications (CPR, First Aid, TB Assessment and all other trainings necessary)
Some travel will be required
Duties and Responsibilities
In accordance with the principles of Positive Behavior Supports and Applied Behavior Analysis, conducts functional assessments and analyses and develops individualized behavioral assessment reports.
Prepares individualized behavioral support plans based on the behavioral assessment, monitors plan implementation, makes adjustments to plan as needed and measures and documents plan effectiveness and outcomes in addressing target behaviors.
Provides competency-based training to treatment teams and support staff in behavioral data collection systems, behavioral plan implementation, positive programming, focused-support communication training, and crisis intervention strategies.
Collaborates in the development of standards of practice and training programs in support of effective, evidence-based practices.
Supervise and assistant Registered Behavior Technicians
Travel to other locations, as needed to monitor, train and conduct treatment team meetings.
