    Speech Therapy Speech therapy (ST) is used to assess, diagnose, treat, and help to prevent disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication voice, swallowing and much more. Therapy is conducted by highly trained Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Therapy can include playful and fun exercises using audio-visual elements such as books, images, stories, etc. Teaching children to create certain sounds and pronounce certain syllables, often in a playful manner like a game. Encouraging children to talk to each other in group sessions. One-on-one sessions with an SLP to focus on specific issues.     Occupational Therapy (OT) Occupational therapy helps people across the lifespan participate in the things they want and need to do throughout the therapeutic use of everyday activities, which we identify as occupations. Our Occupational Therapist and Occupational Therapy Assistants work with the pediatric population targeting birth to 21 years of age. They use the main occupation of childhood (PLAY) to help kids learn new skills, interact in their environment, and progress towards their goals. Outcomes Occupational therapy targets activities of daily living and instrumental activities of Daily Living These skills include dressing, feeding, hygiene, grooming, cooking, shopping, and household chores. OT can also help kids build their strength and improve their coordination. Teach kids how to interact and play with their peers.
